DIXON, CA (MPG) - A full dinner with all the trimmings will benefit Horseplay Therapeutic Riding Center on Monday, April 17, 4:30-7:30 p.m., at Bud’s Pub & Grill, 100 S. First Street in Dixon. The event includes a full dinner with a choice of prime rib, chicken, trip-tip, salmon, rigatoni, grilled prawns, or chicken strips, and includes a house salad, garlic roasted red potatoes, bread, and a non-alcoholic beverage.
The evening will include a raffle of a wide variety of prizes, as well as Horseplay items such as greeting cards and T-shirts, which will be available for purchase.
Horseplay is a volunteer based, non-profit organization that provides special-needs children and adult riders who reside in Solano, Napa, and Yolo counties an opportunity to improve their quality of life by interacting physically, intellectually, and emotionally while riding horses in controlled, therapeutic sessions. Many riders participate in sessions on a weekly basis. Horseplay’s riding program is located at Whispering Winds Rach in Dixon.
Tickets for the dinner fundraiser are $40, which does not include gratuity. To purchase tickets, call Margaret Ren, (707) 372-7284. For more information about the Horseplay program, call (707) 447-8733, or visit horseplayriding.org.
