DIXON, CA (MPG) - The Dixon Historical Society will welcome Dan Rott, local author of “What Happened Along the Way”, to share his memories of Dixon during the 1950s and 1960s.  The Rott family came to Dixon in 1953.  Following in his father's footsteps, Dan taught for five years at East (Anderson) Elementary and served as school principal for 15 years at Tremont Elementary.  Join guests on Sunday, April 21, from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Dixon United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall to learn more about life in small-town America as it once was.  All presentations are free to the community for both members and non-members alike.  Refreshments will be provided.
