DIXON, CA (MPG) - With the traffic on A and North First Street at a snail’s pace leading to the May Fair Sunday at 6 p.m., it was a good sign that the 147th Dixon May Fair was another huge success. Despite the auto congestion people poured in four and five-people deep to the main gates well after 6 p.m., and the fair did not end until 10 p.m.
“It was a great fair and we thank all the people who came,” said Dixon May Fair CEO, Pat Conklin. “Every fair is different so we don’t know all the numbers yet, but if we’re talking attendance, attendance was successful. There were people everywhere.”
The grounds were nearly silent by Tuesday morning except for a minimal — and very tired — staff. They did say they were looking forward to seeing us all again in 2025!
