DIXON, CA (MPG) - For many of the 11 churches in Dixon, residents old and young can enjoy Christmas-oriented services. Each church has its own methods and practices in which to best celebrate the holiday season.

There is one event that unites them all every year and that is Carols in the Tunnel, occurring 7 p.m. Dec. 20 at 220 N. Jefferson St.

The public is invited to join several local church groups in the tunnel to raise their voices and faith. It has become a regular favorite over the holidays, despite the cold, and takes place in the B Street train underpass. For more information, visit Dixon’s Calendar and Events Facebook page.
