Jan 28, 2025 04:26PM ● By Solano County Office of Education News Release

SOLANO COUNTY, CA (MPG) - Solano County Office of Education (SCOE), in collaboration with the Solano Child Care Planning Council and other community partners, is hosting its annual Child Care Planning Council Community Forum.

This forum will provide valuable information on childcare options available throughout Solano County, including care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. Families will learn how to access childcare and related resources in the county. Parents, educators, childcare providers, and anyone interested in childcare is invited to attend.

Research shows that children’s experiences during their first five years directly impact their brain development, influencing their health and ability to learn and succeed in school and life. Many of these early experiences take place in childcare settings, underscoring the importance of quality care for our youngest learners.

The Solano County Child Care Planning Council Community Forum will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Mary Bird Early Childhood Education Center, located at 420 E. Tabor Ave., Fairfield. Refreshments and childcare will be provided.

Register in advance. For questions, contact the Solano County Office of Education at (707) 399-4400.
