Rustaller Farms held its first of a series of comedy shows called Stand-up Ruhstaller. Presented by Travis Milner, the event was hosted by Eric Somers and featured Teddy Hull, Adam Tiller and Sydney Stigerts.
DIXON, CA (MPG) - Ruhstaller Farms, 6686 Sievers Road., held its first of a series of comedy shows, Stand-up Ruhstaller, from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 23, and intends to hold more shows on the fourth Thursday of each month.
The comedy show was presented by Travis Milner and hosted by Eric Somers, who have been promoting shows together for around a year and a half in Sacramento and the greater Bay Area. The duo began doing shows at Ruhstaller Farms as early as Nov. 30, 2023 after becoming acquainted with the brewery’s owner, J.E. Paino, who showed interest in their offer.
Somers and Milner, a self-proclaimed “Comedy Nerd,” want to regularly bring comedy to Dixon for $15 a show. According to Somers, there are many shows and comic opportunities in the Bay Area but not as many within areas such as Fairfield, Vacaville and Dixon.

Somers and Milner will also host shows at the Woodland Elks Lodge (500 Bush St.) every third Friday, Pleasanton’s Neighborhood Sports Bar and Kitchen (234-B Main St.) every second and fourth Wednesday and a show at Davis’s Stone Gate Country Club (919 Lake Blvd.) with dates yet to be announced.
“I have been in stand-up comedy for 16 years. I started in L.A. and I currently work around the Bay,” said Somers. “I moved up here around 2010 and started producing shows but I was a comedian too. About a year and a half ago, I was just a booked comedian and met Travis (Milner). He was looking for someone who knew the talent, and I did, so we started up here… Travis is a resident, an enthusiast, and he’s just been into comedy for years”
