Historical Society to Host Car Dealership Presentation

DIXON, CA (MPG) - More memories will be made as the Dixon Historical Society presents the history of various Dixon Car Dealerships from 2 to 3:15 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Dixon United Methodist Church, located at 209 N. Jefferson St. 

The program will include the history of the following Dixon Car Dealerships: Charles McGimsey Ford, Ron DuPratt Ford, Emil Rossi, Oldsmobiles and Allis-Chalmers Tractors, Hughs Brothers Chevrolet and Movay Chevrolet. Guest speakers from some of these dealerships will be present to share their stories.

Refreshments will be served after the presentation.  

This will be the Dixon Historical Society’s first program for 2025. The historical society’s three additional programs are scheduled for April 27, Aug. 17 and Oct. 19. All presentations are free to the public. The historical society would like to hear from any person, group or organization that wants to present their history as it relates to Dixon and the surrounding areas.
