DIXON, CA (MPG) - The Dixon Chamber of Commerce is seeking businesses that are interested in helping approximately 75 juniors and seniors at Dixon High School Public Service Academy by having them “job shadow” for either four or eight hours one day in the spring.

This is an incredible opportunity to have a positive impact on the students in our community, to show them what your business does and help influence them in making career choices.

Dixon High School’s appeal is: “Approximately 75 juniors and seniors in the Public Service Academy at Dixon High School will be going on individual field trips on March 27 to a job shadowing location of their choosing.  Between now and then, our students will locate, contact and secure their placement, which we will then approve or deny based on a few factors. Once approved, they will secure either March 27 or a date during spring break. Students will then write a reflection and share their experience with their classmates on April 18.”
