DIXON, CA (MPG) - Celebrate Dixon on March 8 at the Dixon Fairgrounds, presented by the Dixon Chamber of Commerce and co-sponsored by California Water Services, showcased Dixon’s communal spirit and honored citizens, businesses, organizations and public servants who have made a difference for the city.
Jennifer Huff, the chamber’s acting chair, and many of her cohorts worked to make the night special for all involved.
“It takes a village to put on an event like this one. However, we’ve done it year after year, and each year it comes together seamlessly,” said Huff.
The event offered a multitude of amenities and opportunities, including music by DJ Ambreezy of Saxman Entertainment, a live dessert auction, a no-host beer and wine bar hosted by the Rotary Club of Dixon, a silent auction and a hat raffle. First Northern Bank sponsored the door prize.
Guests were served a dinner of tri-tip, chicken, potatoes, two types of salad and bread, catered by Bud’s Pub and Grill.
