DIXON, CA (MPG) - “Flower Power” will be celebrated at this year’s Dixon May Fair and it’s time to sign up to participate in the annual competitions at the Fair, May 8 to 11. The Fair is looking for crafting, knitting, baking and flower arrangements, along with all the traditional quilts, preserves, art and more. Details for 100s of classes are outlined in the 2025 Exhibitor Guidebook for all the ways the community can enter their projects. For 148 years the Dixon May Fair has been celebrating the community by showcasing the skills and talents of the region. Community projects, produce, pigs and pies are all showcased in the fun of the annual Fair.
Any residents in the State of California can enter their homegrown and homemade exhibits in most categories of the Dixon May Fair’s competition, which might earn them a prized blue ribbon or a little cash. (Market animals are restricted to Solano County.)
Entering projects in the Fair is easy and can be done online at dixonmayfair.com. The Guidebook can be viewed online and entry forms downloaded at dixonmayfair.com. (Click on Fair Information, then Entries.) Complete and sign the entry form and return it to the Fair office, 655 S. First St., with any fees due.
