DIXON, CA (MPG) - Tickets for the popular Dixon May Fair grandstand shows, Fair admission, and carnival wristbands are now available for purchase for the upcoming fair that runs May 8 through May 11.

The Dixon May Fair has a number of opportunities to save money and time when you buy your fair and grandstand event tickets early using their online ticket system. 

The convenience of on-line ticketing is available for grandstand events, carnival ride wristbands and admission (online processing fees apply).

The First Northern Bank Grandstand ticket prices for Flying U Bull Riding on May 9, the Maxx Kakl Tractor and Truck Pulls on May 10 and the Moondog Motorsports Demolition Derby on May 11 will be $40 for all ages. Grandstand event tickets purchased in advance will include fair admission. Tickets purchased the day of the event do not include Fair admission. Advance purchase is recommended, as all Grandstand events have all been sell-outs in recent years.

For parents, the all-you-can-ride wristbands are a great way to go for children with an unlimited appetite for the spectacular rides. Butler Amusements is offering wristbands, which allow the rider unlimited rides on any one day for $35 in advance through May 7. The wristbands are good for any one day of the Dixon May Fair. During the fair, wristbands will be $40.

There are additional discounts on fair admission. Advance purchase adult tickets online are $10 and will be $15 at the gate, a 33% savings. KUIC Radio sponsors Thrifty Thursday, May 8, when all admissions are $5. And on Kids Day, May 9, all children 12 and under are admitted for free.
