DIXON, CA (MPG) - The City of Dixon is currently accepting applications for the following vacancies on City Commissions: 

Two vacancies on the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is an advisory body to the City Council on matters pertaining to planning and land use. Commissioners serve four-year terms, with a maximum of two consecutive terms. All vacancies are four-year terms expiring on June 30, 2029. The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month. City residency is required. A stipend of $100 per meeting attended is paid to each commissioner. 

Four vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Commission. The Parks and Recreation Commission is an advisory body to the City Council on matters pertaining to recreation and park facilities. Parks and Recreation commissioners serve two-year terms, with a maximum of three consecutive terms. Two vacancies are two-year terms expiring on June 30, 2027 and two vacancies are to fill unexpired terms through June 30, 2026. The Parks and Recreation Commission meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month. City residency is required. A stipend of $75 per meeting attended is paid to each commissioner. 

Three vacancies on the Transportation Advisory Commission (TAC). The Transportation Advisory Commission is an advisory body to the City Council on matters pertaining to traffic, transportation and parking issues. Transportation Advisory Commission commissioners serve four-year terms, with a maximum of two consecutive terms. All vacancies are four-year terms expiring on June 30, 2029. The Transportation Advisory Commission meets at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of even-numbered months. City residency is required. A stipend of $75 per meeting attended is paid to each commissioner.
