Troy Hensley, a former Dixon High coach, was sentenced this past Tuesday for charges of sexual assault. The Yolo County Superior Court sentenced Hensley to 365 days in the Yolo County jail and given 4 years of formal probation. He was not, however, required to register as a sex offender.
The court also prohibited Hensley from coaching or holding leadership positions in youth sports. He is only allowed to attend youth sports events as a spectator, and may only be on campus for parent/teacher meetings. He is also prohibited from having any contact with the victim and the victim’s family.
