If you’ve ever been interested in classic or custom-built cars, these shows are for you. Bonding with family or friends, enjoying the outdoors or just coming for something to do can all be done with an exciting car show.
With many models of vehicles up for show, trophies handed out to the best ones, live music and great food vendors, there is a little something for everyone at the car shows in Dixon.
Grillin’ and Chillin’ Car & Truck Show
Happening the third week in July every year, you can grab some great grilled food while walking around and looking at the classic cars on display. With great family fun, vendors, live music, grills going and classic and custom cars out for show, this is a great place to spend an afternoon. You may be able to find some custom car builders that you completely fall in love with. Happening from 10 am to 10 pm, it is an all-day affair for the whole family.
Bikes and cars pre-1970’s are all rolled into the area and put on display. With live music, food and item vendors and many like-minded enthusiasts, there is plenty to do.
This car show even has a mustache and beard contest and is great fun for all ages. Happening on August 12, 2017 at the Dixon Fairgrounds, you can come for the food, the fun, the cars or the family oriented contests that guarantee fun all day long. Tattoo artists and custom designers will also be present for the event.
With thousands of classic cars out there waiting to be shown off, you most likely want to go out and look at them for yourself and with these great shows, you have plenty of access to the best cars on the west coast.
If you have your own classic, hot rod or other show quality car, think about the fun you will have if you bring your own car to a show for thousands to see. Many of the events provide free admission, vendors to shop with, drivers and builders to learn from, raffles, food and live music. Car shows provide a family friendly and fun way to get out of the house and check out some cool cars every week.
