Two Dixonites in Classic Play in Downtown Sacramento

Two Dixon residents are performing in the classic play “Under Milk Wood” by renowned Welsh author and poet Dylan Thomas. The play is a “day in the life” of a small 1930’s Welsh town called Llareggub. (bugger all, backwards).
It speaks to the lives of all people of any town. If you know “Our Town” you might had a hint of this show, but it is quite different. There are seven players and each plays multiple characters at quite a pace.
One well known quote from the play is “We are not wholly bad or good, that live our lives under Milk Wood, And thou, I know, wilt be the first to see our best side, not our worst.” It is a comedy of it’s own sort. It is showing this weekend and next at the Thistle Dew theatre in downtown Sacramento.
